The starting points for creating these knots/nodes are multiple: the roots of mangroves, the way my hair waves, snakes, etc. Sometimes the image starts from a real image, sometimes from a memory, others from a graphic form that I later find in nature. The forms between human, plant and animal transport us into an imaginary world of hair, skin, roots, snakes and tentacles. The pieces and bodies of non-existent creatures are a pretext to reflect on the fragility and temporality of our environment and our bodies.
